Online Security Password Management
Are you using many different applications on the internet? If you are and if you sigh up to use different applications then you probably may be using the same password for the different accounts. That is not a good idea.
In the unfortunate event that your email is hacked (I have friends who have had that happened to them) you don?t want hackers to have easy access to your Pay Pal account or your Internet Banking details.? So to tighten your online security, do use different user names and passwords.
You can either make use of a spreadsheet (like excel) and update that regularly as you change out the passwords once a month or once in a couple of months. If that is too troublesome for you, and if hackers get access to that, then you may want to make use of a Password Manager.
In this video I show you 2 different Password Managers that you can use. Try them out and see if these will help you. In any case, do change out your passwords Now (if they are used across different accounts).
It is good practice to use upper and lower case letters as well as special characters and numbers in your passwords. Phone numbers, house numbers and birthdays are not great for passwords. If you have a few minutes, watch this video and as soon as you finish the video go change out your passwords.
